These farm-fresh eggs come from our neighboring farm, where the hens are pasture-raised during the Spring, Summer, and Fall, enjoying the freedom to roam from dawn to dusk. In addition to their organic, non-GMO grain feed, they forage naturally for bugs, worms, and other nutrient-rich treats as they scratch and peck through lush grass.
These eggs are unwashed, meaning they have not been scrubbed or chemically cleaned after being collected. Because of this, you may occasionally find a little natural farm debris on the shells, such as dust, straw, or even a feather. We leave the eggs unwashed to preserve their natural protective coating.
